Wow...facebook has changed America or the WORLD rather. It's crazy to think that the White House is even on facebook. Is there something wrong with that?!? Perhaps. I watched this program about facebook and it's affects on today's media. Crazy stuff. I was actually on my facebook while watching it so what does that tell you?!? It's so easy to be connected to almost anywhere in the world. I am thankful for it because I can keep in contact with my Haitian's friends. It's how I found out that everyone was okay after the earthquake. So I don't know what to say about facebook. I like it...I like it a lot. My advice to others is be smart about it. It's on the internet so don't put all of your information out there.
I also watched a re-run of "Rescued" a documentary about Haiti after the earthquake that features two of our children at Child Hope International. It aired on CNN hosted by Soledad O'Brien who was an on-site correspondence right after the quake. It brought tears to my eyes and made me miss everyone there!! It's crazy to me that I actually KNOW them and the place they showed. I noticed the kids more as well, like specific kids. "Oh there is Gibson" and "Evans is pulling down the laundry". I love those kids!! I will leave you with a piece of what I miss...
Please check out the beautiful and amazing Ruth!! I miss her so much and her awesome voice!! :)
